Topshop: Air born to Australia

Yes… It’s true, Topshop is on its way!
We didn’t know what to expect but it seems the votes are in and the first Topshop store in Australia will be standing by the end of the year.
The first store will be set up in Melbourne in the well-known Chapel Street Jam Factory. For those in Sydney, don’t book your flights to Melbourne too soon as you will be the second lucky location.
It seems that Zara gracing our presence fuelled Topshop to take the next step and meet its competition and there’s no way we’re complaining about being stuck in the middle!
We will be the 32nd country to welcome Topshop’s iconic label, and we have to agree that they must be familiar with Australian style. Topshop have collaborated with our very own Alice McCall and Sass & Bide on various projects and our love for the label is evident… After all Aussie shoppers are their third largest online market.
I don’t know about you, but I know what will be on my Christmas list!

Frankie & Smith

As soon as I heard news about the team at Frankie Magazine releasing a male counterpart – Smith Journal, my head was already speeding ahead at 1000km an hour, planning future lazy afternoons reading Frankie and Smith Journal with a dreamy boy in a white tee and plenty of stubble.
Smith Journal’s website hopes it will be, “Something that looked good, but had substance, wit and inspiration.” Sounds like my kinda guy. Here’s to hoping that one day there will be a Smith to my Frankie. Smith Journal will be launched on September 5th and I will be hitting up the newsagency to distribute copies to all my male friends. I suggest you do the same. x

Let’s bear in mine it can not just be any shoe. Picked with love and worn with pride, a shoe is the sole of an outfit.
Pop colours, detailing, carving, leather, suede, brogues, oh and the list goes on!
There’s only one thing that makes me sad about a press showing with this many amazing designs… yes, my credit debt. But then that’s what the plastics for!
